Our Origin

We Didn’t Read About It. We Lived It.

Covest didn’t start in a lab. It started in the field — on construction sites in Los Cabos, in notary offices, across spreadsheets tracking cap-rate projections for one of Mexico’s most competitive resort markets.

Our founding team grew up inside Mexico’s real estate industry. We managed developments, structured deals, navigated the Fideicomiso trust system firsthand, and saw how property creates generational wealth — for those who can afford to play.

Then we saw the gap: global platforms tokenizing real estate — the right idea, built on the wrong foundation. Without legal validity, a token is not property. The Fideicomiso was the missing layer.
